Working for Powerade I had the pleasure of shooting their ambassador and NRL legend Greg Inglis for the launch of sports drink Powerade ION 4. It was an honour working with such a lovely guy and real superstar of the modern game.
We were given access to the South Sydney Rabbitohs change rooms and captured images of GI after his training session to give him a real authentic look. We added a little bit of light hair and makeup to make sure everything was in place and added a little more sweat to emphasise the need for hydration.
Lighting was dramatic with a sports look for the portrait photography and we further shot hero product photography in a studio situation after the shoot with GI. The final images were used for POS and shopper shelf stackers. It was a super fun project to work on adding a star element to my normal drink photography.
