This year seemed to be the year for quick service restaurants (QSR) Launching, updating, refreshing and redesigning with food photography being in high demand, lucky I am one of Australia’s Leading food photographers as my name is regularly in the mix and at one stage I was in tender for multiple non-compete restaurants, I always make sure any new business is not a conflict of interest to any of my existing clients for my ethical reasons and also I never want imagery to look the same between competitors and as I have such a distinct food photography style this would likely happen
Although some of the tenders didn’t come to shoot stage due to budget, timings and competitive pitch purposes I worked closely with each project team to try and meet the project needs, whether that be financial, logistically or creatively. I have a 15 year relationship with one of Australia’s best QSR food stylists which also helps!
Some of the notable food photography menus I helped bring to life through the year were, Gelatissimo, the new pistachio papi colab is my favourite flavour! Zambrero, new item and meal combos for the launch of their hot chips and Ooshmans Where I started an addiction for their flaming peri peri wrap, they make and bake their breads in store and my goodness it shows , so delicious!
