I have spent the last few years creating and submitting my work into awards, not for an ego boost but it came to a time in my career that I felt my work had developed its own unique voice and was at a level that was ready to receive recognition and show to a larger audience. The recognition was more than I could ever have expected with a few to note, winning the 2024 and 2025 Spotlight Awards in the Food & Drink category, being named as a finalist in the 2023 Bowness awards for some of my personal artwork and in 2024 being ranked 1st in Australia and 2nd globally in the Fine Art Category and 1stin Australia and 6th Globally in Still-life receiving 2 golden X awards and 1 golden camera in this year.
So with a crazy few years of showing my work to the world and being awards one of the best food photographer, still life photographer and art photographer I was asked to be on the judging panel for a few awards in 2026, This was such an honour to be considered in a place in my career to judge some of the best, so I took a break from submitting to be on the other side for the year. I am so honoured to have been on the judging panel for the One Eyelands Golden X award in 2 categories, Fine Art and Still Life awards. I am so excited to see what some of the amazing artists submit.
I have also been invited to a new award the Food and Drink Styling awards which is a new award for Food and Drink stylist to submit and have the change to be awards the stylist of the year! Again, it’s so exciting to be part of the panel with such amazing other talents!
