In 2024 I was speechless winning the food and Drink photographer of the year with what’s become a bit of an iconic photo of mine “Sticky Taste 2” The image was a graphic sculptural arrangement of figs, honey prosciutto and cheese. The image gave me an article in The Australian Weekender, numerous awards including 2nd place in the world food awards and of course the Spotlight awards. Flying forward to 2026 and I submitted another sculptural creation “Deep Lux” creatively representing a seafood pasta being pulled from the sea, drippy butter, sculptural abstract food, delicious and creative, sounds like a photo created by Ben Cole….I am so honoured to say I have just received the news that I have taken out first place for a second time in three years for the award. Blown away to say the least!!!
Over recent years I have loved pushing the ideas and creative direction of food out from the normal to create something a little different, a little exciting and attention grabbing Awards like this give us as artists a large platform to showcase our work so thanks Production Paradise and Spotlight Awards.
