I have a lot of clients that now look to me for creative direction and ideas that push the boundaries of classic still life photography or product photography, in the current oversaturated visual world we live in I think this is what will give you standout.
I recently had a project that was exactly that. A long-standing client of mine New Age Veneers is always looking at new and exciting ways to showcase their product out of the normal in use idea. Being an Australian company with a lot of inspiration in their products coming from our natural landscape and environment we have for some time discussed the idea of shooting a campaign out in the Australian bush to express the connection to our environment. The time came where we were able to put talk into practice and spent the day out in the bush to bring the product to life. I wanted the product to look sculptural within nature extending and growing from its space. I think the end results are stunning creating art with what could be considered a reasonably simple item.
Massive thanks to the team being so hands on trekking into the bush with oversize boards and braving the elements.
