This year I was over the moon to have received the news that I was a finalist in this year’s Food Photographer of the year.

As a Sydney based commercial food photographer we execute briefs, work with clients creatively and bring to life visions, we know when we have nailed the brief brought that little bit extra to projects and created something drool worthy however competitions allow us to really let our creative ideas take over giving us the platform to express and push the boundaries to create something truly delicious… Roll out the Pink Lady Food Photographer Of The Year Awards. I have entered this award many times over the years receiving shortlist placings, honourable mentions and even a third place however I am absolutely over the moon to have received a second place in the 2024 awards in the ‘Marks And Spence Food Portrait’ category.  Artworks were received from over 100 countries with many amazing works so to receive this award is truly a proud moment.  It is also fabulous to have seen so many Australians in finalist placing this year the quality of food photographers in this country is fantastic! The exhibition night was held in London and was a huge success for all artists, the completion and food lovers!

The concept behind my work ‘Stick Taste’ was to create flavour for your eyes so the viewer could visually taste the image. Each ingredient was styled to it flavour characteristic, sweet and sticky honey, sharp textural cracker, creamy earthy cheese, elegant Prosciutto and subtle sweet notes of the fig.My work was a collaborated piece with the talented stylist Sharon Kennedy.

Please check out my work and many amazing, delicious, drool worthy images at the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the year finalist list.
