I don’t usually enter photography competitions but recently had the honour of receiving 4 Nominee titles in the 7th Annual Masters Cup international colour award for photography for work as a Sydney food photographer, the nominee title is the selected finalist shortlist of work that is then voted on for the major award. I am over the moon with the nominee placing as it’s a global competition and the first competition I have entered since high school. It has definitely inspired me to enter future competitions.

LOS ANGELES 03MAY14 -Professional photographer Ben Cole of Australia was presented with the 7th Annual Photography Masters Cup Nominee title in the category of Food at a prestigious Nomination & Winners Photoshow webcast Saturday, May 3, 2014.
The live online gala was attended by photography fans around the globe who logged on to see the climax of the industry’s most important event for color photography.
7th Annual Jury members included captains of the industry from Contrasto, Rome; Kahmann Gallery, Amsterdam; Galerie Simon Blais, Montreal; Barbara Frigerio Contemporary Art, Milan; Clair Galerie, Munich; and Ingrid Deuss Gallery, Belgium who honored Color Masters with 274 coveted title awards in 18 categories.
