With the new year off and running I have had the time to review the year that was. I am still specialising as an advertising food photographer and beverage photographer with my studio located in Artarmon, Sydney. 2023 was a year to remember having worked on some truly amazing campaigns for small and large clients. I shot a lot of work in my traditional still photography and stepped up my video work creating various motion campaigns for social and online projects. I worked with many talented people and had so much fun doing it. I picked up a few new clients and continued to build relationships with so many of my existing ones, thank you to all you’re the best!

Some projects of note from the year are:

Using my still life and product photography expertise’s I worked closely with the client to create key imagery for Norsca Botanicals launch, due to launch late 24’… so keep an eye out in OOH and shopper spaces for the imagery, it was truly a beautiful project to work on developing the concept, creative direction to execution closely with the client for a stunning end results.

Working with one of my oldest clients I worked as a specialist beverage photographer  for Coca-Cola Asia on premiss, showcasing the perfect serve. We shot a range of stills and motion footage across a number of days taking over a local hotel/pub. So much fun and amazing effort from a compact team with hard weather conditions but super fun!

Loughlin Furniture

A long standing client the talented team at Loughlin Furniture got me on board again and used my experience as a product photographer to bring to life the newest furniture range, stunning as always.

Something a little different to my adverting campaigns I have more recently  been regularly working on social media projects creating content for various brands.

Over the past 12 months I have been working closely with the talented team at Arnott’s creative various digital and social content. It has been so amazing being involved in brand launches, exciting content and some seriously fun takes on the brand.

I have been fortunate enough to work closely with the team at MTA to bring to life the bi-annual cover imagery for their Term 1 and Term 3 catalogues. On these projects I am able to use my product photography expertise to help bring to life their catalogues. There are a lot of stake holders and some big creative inputs needed but it has really shaped into an amazing project to work on.

I have lost count on how many years I have been working as a food photography specialist for Gelatissimo creating in store, social and digital content for the global gelato franchise, over the years we have adapted and reshaped direction however still manage to make every shoot amazing with some beautiful work.

Along with these projects I have worked on many other projects including a few campaigns for alcohol brand, many FMCG based shopper and OOH projects, small boutique brands, small lifestyle projects , a cook book and many more. What a year.

There were a few awards received in 2023 to top it all off, I received an honourable mention in the Refocus Colour Awards, received nominee status in the International Colour Awards  and was an exhibiting finalist in the York Botanical Art Prize, Wyndham Art Prize, Lethbridge Art Prize, Gosford Art Prize.
