Ben Cole is recognised as one of Australia’s premier commercial photographers, specializing in food photography, Drink & beverage photography, still life, and product photography. Based in his studio in Artarmon on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, Ben collaborates closely with clients across Australia to deliver stunning visuals that reflect his unique creative vision, executed to the highest standards.
With extensive experience, Ben works hand-in-hand with clients, agencies, and creative teams to fully understand project requirements—whether it’s a large-scale production or a tailored project for boutique clients. His photography is versatile and crafted for various media, including advertising, packaging, cookbooks, and digital and social media platforms. Over the years, he has worked with global brands like Woolworths, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Lion, Ferrero, Arnott’s, GlaxoSmithKline, Schneider Electric, Red Rooster, and Cadbury, showcasing his work on both global and local scales.
Ben’s talent has not gone unnoticed; he has received numerous awards for his photography. Notably, he recently achieved first place in the 2024 Production Paradise Spotlight Awards for the Food and Drink category and secured second place in the 2024 World Food Photography Awards. He also earned two silver awards in the Still Life category at the 2023 One Eyeland Photography Awards, ranking second overall in Australia. Additionally, his personal art projects have gained recognition and finalist placements in various competitions.
His further accolades include multiple nominations and finalist positions in the International Photography Colour Awards from 2014 to 2024, as well as being shortlisted for the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year on several occasions, achieving third place in the Food Portrait category in 2021.
